Founded in 1985 by John St. George, Lignitech Limited is currently owned and operated by St. George and Vlado Benden, who joined the company in 1994. Lignitech began as a custom millwork fabricator producing custom cabinetry, counters and custom shelves, constructed from fiberboard and covered with plastic laminate.

With the design talent of St. George and production skills of Benden, Lignitech has built a reputation for consistency, quality, and well-designed solutions. This high level of dedication and skill has allowed Lignitech to broaden its offering. In 2000, Lignitech added a new division that produces point of sale and trade show displays. Most recently Lignitech has launched its TriA Studio line of no-tool EZ-assemble art studio furniture. The TriA line currently includes drawing horses, sculpting stands, elevated model turntables, proportional calipers, and bankers. Unlike many competitive products which are built as furniture first, TriA products are designed with the artist’s needs in mind.

We are proud of our crew and the high quality of work they produce. At Lignitech, we don't cut corners. We have built our reputation by striving to meet or exceed the design specification and always keeping the needs of end user in mind. All our products are designed to complement the installation space, whether it is custom millwork, point of sale and trade show displays, or TriA Studio products.
